Hi Chris,

It is sometimes hard to find an NFL Referee/Official assignements. Sometimes the NFL Teams Websites post what they call a Flip Card on their site. This Flip Card usually shows up about 2 days out from a game.

Scott Hochuli also mentioned that since the NBA Officials Fiasco,,,,, well the assignments for Referees/Officials in general are not made public.

Here are the games for the Wildcards for 2007/2008 Season:

Saturday - Jan. 5, 2008 4:30pm Eastern Time - NBC - NFC

Washington Redsins VS Seattle Seahawks
Announcers: Tom Hammond & Chris Collinsworth

Saturday - Jan. 5, 2008 8:00pm Eastern Time - NBC - AFC

Jacksonville Jaguars VS Pittsburgh Steelers
Announcers: Al Michaels, John Madden & Andrea Kremer

Sunday - Jan. 6, 2008 1:00pm Eastern Time - FOX - NFC

New York Giants VS Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Announcers: Joe Buck, Troy Aikman & Pam Oliver

Sunday - Jan. 6, 2008 4:30pm Eastern Time - CBS - AFC

Tennessee Titans VS San Diego Chargers
Announcers: Greg Gumbel & Phil Simms

Yes, Becky you are correct according to the Flip Card from Redskins.com it is Walt Coleman with at least two members of Terry Mcaulay's(#77) crew. I just read that it is funny that you posted it :D . Hope you had a nice New Year's eve and please let me know if you find more info on the offcials for the Playoff games.

Hi Chris,

Yes I will let you know if I find out any more NFL Referee Assignments. Glad to know that I am correct on the Walt Coleman Assignement - Redskins VS Seahawks Wildcard Playoff game.

Of course I keeping my eye out for Ed Hochuli Assignment. I am hoping it is next weeks game(Divisional Playoff Game), because I want to get tickets. If not the NFC Playoff game if The Cowboys win & Advance.

I hope you had a safe Holiday too Chris.... Mine was great :!: My Twin Sister came back down to the Great State of TEXAS to visit.

Becky

V.P. of NFL Officials(Mike Pereira) tell us that the top 8 Officials go & officiate the Playoffs & Division Games(Total of 8 in all).

Of the top 3 NFL Referees/Officials they go as individuals to officiate the 2 Conference Playoffs & Super Bowl.

Good Luck to the NFL Referees who earn their spots for the Playoffs.

I wonder why it was not posted that Ed will be in SD this weekend, I guess that means he will not be doing a Cowboys game or a Pats game.

Hi Chris,

Yes I am thinking you are correct. 8 Crews for the Wildcard & Divisional Games & the Top 3 Individual Head Refs from the 8 go on to Head the 2 Conference Playoffs & 1 Super Bowl Game.

Becky

P.S. Do not forget about the Pro Bowl Game. Just curious who goes to Beautiful Hawaii to do that game :?:

Yes, Becky I have not forgetton about the Pro Bowl. I do not think Ed had worked the Pro Bowl in his career but I may be wrong about that.
