Ron Winter worked tonight's Chargers-Colts game, and I think he and his crew did a good job. Was this Winter's first trip back to the playoffs since the unfortunate incident involving then-back-judge Scott Green a few years ago?

Two other questions: Who was/were the alternate referee(s) for both Winter's and John Parry's games? And, are the officials working this weekend in contention to be selected for the higher rounds of the playoffs and/or the Superbowl?

Thanks! Is there a reason why there wasn't an alt ref for Winter's game? Or, was one of the crew eligible to be a referee "pro tempore" if there was a problem, and have the alt umpire or head linesman fill in?
