A week or so before the Chargers Colt playoff game, I heard ESPN'S Colin Herd discussing Ed. He went thru how we all make and have made mistakes and Ed's otherwise accomplishments and character. While my opinion means nothiing in the big scheme of things, I decided that Colin Herd was right, we needed to get over this and tell the man so.
So here is one longtime San Diego resident-fan letting go. You gotta tough job out there guy. best wishes.

Dear mrkpow
On behalf of Ed, I want to thank you for taking time to acknowledge the tough job the NFL officials have and, congratulations on letting go. Not only does it take self-discipline to let go, it's a tremendous accomplishment and can be empowering! Good for you!!
Changing stations here, in my business as a life coach I provide many people and teens with the tools of letting go and moving forward not only as a way of being healthy emotionally but physically. You simply can't have one without the other. Studies prove that a positive outlook heals from within. We all know we can't rewrite history - unless you time travel - so look to today, accept the past and continue moving towards a better tomorrow.
Have a positive 2009!

I believe that Mike Carey was on Ed's crew for that Dallas game in the snow.

You are right!! As a matter of fact, Ed and I were watching a movie (can't remember which one) and there was a clip of an NFL game during the movie. I asked Ed is that your infamous snowy game in Dallas, it was, and we saw Mike Carey slippin' and slidin' along the sidelines. If I think of the movie, I will let you know.
That's all!
