I would like to thank you for your interest in my officiating, your support, and your participation on this website. I was quite surprised when Scott first unveiled his website – NFL85.com – and I am very flattered. I will do my best to answer questions periodically, but I ask you to have patience. This is a very busy time of the year for me, working two full-time jobs, so I can't always answer things immediately. I should also point out that you shouldn't let Scott fool you – he knows as much or more about football than I do. He played high school and college football (Quarterback) as well as Arena I. So when he answers questions with "I'm no expert, but . . . . " – don't buy it. He knows EXACTLY what he's talking about.
So, once again, thank you for your support, as well as your criticism when I mess up. We all learn from our mistakes, and I've found over the years that fans are most definitely not shy in pointing out when I mess up! And also, thank you for visiting Scott's website. Best of luck to your teams this year,

These are just questions I have always wanted answered & have been curious about thru out the years.
Thank you again NFL85 for making NFL games more enjoyable to watch.

It was nice to FINALLY meet you in Cleveland (Front Row Dawg Pound) yesterday. Thanks for taking a few minutes out of your day to visit us.

Ed,
You are in a league by yourself, and let's hope you stay around for awhile still. So you've got a shiny new scar? I can't wait to see you in a SD game again. Nothing like getting back up on that horse,  .
Enjoy your off-season, though of course such a thing doesn't really exist, esp. for you with your extra duties. But you know what I mean.

You are very welcome Ed, and it is a privilege to read your sincere thoughts in this forum. On that note, I also offer a hearty thank you to Scott for providing us this avenue to hear from the best referee in the NFL period.
